Dancer Policies

Avatar Requirements

The following technical limits apply to all performing dancers:

  • Poly/Tris: 350,000 maximum (all other optimization stats remain standard)
note

Going over one limitation within reason is allowed if all other stats are under the limit.

SFW Standards

Avatars must align with the event's SFW-wear graphics. We do not enforce avatar style (mecha, furry, humanoid, etc.) — however clothing and optimization remain subject to moderation.

  • Clothing must be tasteful and appropriate for public display (swimsuit covering minimum).
  • Intent, presentation, and coverage should reflect artistic expression, not sexualization.
  • Partial exposure such as stylized swimwear or performance attire is permitted, provided explicit anatomy remains covered.
  • Common sense and cultural respect apply at all times.

Go-Go Format

Slots & Stages

  • Each team performs for 45 minutes, matching the duration of their assigned slot.
  • 2 stages per slot.
  • Each stage includes toggleable vertical poles, suitable for all types of dancers.

Instance Rotation

  • Worlds are rotated every 3 DJ slots for the first half of the carnival.
  • Teams follow the directions of the Go-Go Logician who manages transitions and backups.

Backup Teams

  • Reserve dancers may step in when a scheduled performer is unavailable.

Performance Expectations

  • Both stages must be filled at all times during a set.
  • Teams must be in-world and prepared 10 minutes before their set. Delays affect both scheduling and audience immersion.
  • Performers must be in good physical and mental condition — properly warmed up, hydrated, and mentally focused.
  • Teams are expected to communicate proactively to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Each team must appoint a Team Leader responsible for communication, punctuality, and readiness of the group.
  • Artistic expression is encouraged within event standards.
  • Respect the event theme and boundaries at all times.

Emergency Response

  • Medical or mental health emergencies take absolute priority.
  • Communicate immediately to event staff — safety always comes first.
